You could say I’ve been struggling with sugar addiction since my first kiddie scoop of ice cream. It’s the first memory I have of actually craving more of something. As an adult I struggled for years with sugar addiction. I trapped myself in a predictable pattern of making incredible progress on my fitness goals for short periods of time followed by binges that would put me right back where I started. Worst of all, I wasn’t enjoying any part of the process. I felt constantly deprived while dieting and ashamed of myself when binging.

After years of trial and error, I’ve finally been able to piece together a strategy that works. The best part is, it doesn’t totally suck. Battling your sugar demons can actually be fun!
